Before founding Applitools, Gil held various management roles at the IDF, private and public companies (AeroScout, ECTel) and founded several startup companies. Gil founded Safend in 2004 and served as its CEO until it was acquired by Wave Systems (NASDAQ:WAVX) in 2011. Gil holds a B.Sc. degree from the Technion, Israel's Institute of technology, and a M.Sc. degree from Tel Aviv University, both in Electrical Engineering.
