Wintegra

Wintegra was one of Magma's first portfolio companies, a Start-up company that develops network processors for wireless access and backhaul aggregation. Magma led Wintegra's first round of financing in 2000. Wintegra began generating revenues by 2003, which doubled annually through 2006, and its 2010 revenues doubled from 2009. The company achieved profitability in 2005, and has been profitable since.

PMC-Sierra was acquired by Wintegra in October, 2010. The acquisition was reputed to accelerate PMC-Sierra's product offering in the IP/Ethernet packet-based mobile backhaul equipment market. Mr. Zvi Limon was Magma's representative on the Wintegra board, and played a key role in supporting Wintegra's CEO, Kobi Ben-Zvi, through the company's exit.
